Quite a few shows attended by various members this September, which Barry managed to attend with the help of a friend doing the chauffer's job for him. The first of these was Cromford, was the flypast of the Hurricane and Spitfire specially laid on for you Barry? The next meet on the list was the Monyash gathering which I'm told was very well attended by our branch members (thanks for the commendation Mr Porter), who also had a club run around Derbyshire after the meeting. The next run out was to the Hope Valley evening vehicle show, where Barry tells me that he had a chat with two local YR members, Sharon(?) and Chris Bishop who because of work patterns can't get to club nights, so thanks to you for making yourselves known. Thanks Barry for giving me the report of these meetings and also for letting me know that Ray is also riding around on a different coloured and species of big cat these days!

I didn't go to these shows because a few of us were attending venues in other parts of the country, mainly Pickering, Astle Park and Lotherton Hall. Other shows attended by members were Driffield and Lincoln.

Don't forget that by the time you probably read this report there will only be a month left to start or finish your entry for Richard's Landmark Challenge. If doing this, please don't try and sample the brews at all your stops as it will not do your riding style much good. Please don't drink and drive!!!!!!
