Well folks what have we been doing during this last (summer?) month?? Apart from bailing out not a bloody lot!! Yes, I’m afraid the weather has put paid to nearly everything we’ve had planned. I don’t know of anyone who’s suffered flooding in their home but up here, we’ve all been hit by it one way or another. Glovebox found himself marooned for a few days until roads re-opened & those of us who had to travel into Sheffield to get to work well…..it looked like a war zone!! Runs/shows/events??

I know that Stig has done his upmost to attend but many shows have been cancelled. Credit to him he managed a weekend at Clumber Park with few more members joining him. The show was very good although it did rain rather heavily which of course, let it down.

As I type its Masham Show time & again Stig is there but unlikely many more will attend as it p###ing it down!

There have been no runs to write about & personally, I have only had the bike out a handful of times as it hasn’t been fit – plus I find cleaning flanged rims to be an absolute pain in the derriere!!

By the time you read this we’ll have had the Cullingworth Bike Show. God knows how that will end up but we’ll hope & pray that it’ll be dry.

We have the Beezumph in August & possibly our annual BBQ. I say possibly as we need a dry weekend otherwise it’ll be pointless.

No point in me waffling on anymore as I’ve run out of waffle.
