Before I start I would like to thank Glovebox for the great job he's done over past 4yrs as our scribe. I will then apologise on his behalf for not getting a report off for Feb's Nacelle!

We held our AGM on the 18th Jan which proved to be interesting as most of our committee stood down from their posts. So, thanks go to Pete (ex-Chairman) for his steadfast leadership, Glovebox for scribing & Animal for his stirling work as Branch Sec - he is now our Web Co-ordinator. Dennis has agreed to remain as treasurer & Tim is staying on as Show Sec - big thanks to these two!! As for our new committee Glovebox has now moved up to the heady heights of Chairman then there's the new blood. Rich is our Branch Sec, Keith the Runs Sec & I, Rubbermick your humble scribe.

Now the news……..Congratulations go to Tim & Pete for successfully completing the Landmark Challenge & thanks to Steph who has again agreed to set another. The Xmas meal was a great success with the beer going down a treat - well, I wasn't driving!!!

We have no date yet for the Easter Egg Run although we believe it to be either April 8th or the 14th. After the event, Keith has proposed a scenic run to Team Roberts - that should cool the Meriden clutches somewhat!!! 23rd April we intend to set off from the Carbrook at 10.30 & have a run to North Lincs. If anyone fancies joining in then see our website for further details. In April we'll also be heading of to Prees for The Big Breakfast. 21st June is our Concours Night. This is going from strength to strength so why not join us? In July we'll be going to the Beezumph with (hopefully) 1 of us track bound!! Sometime either late July or early August we will hold our BBQ w/end & later in August a contingency of us are heading off for the Manx TT, let us know if any other clubs are going & we'll meet up.

Bike news, Rich has got the 500 back up & running. Started as a simple job to replace the mains but ended up needing some welding doing on the engine case. The only problem he has now is trying to dissuade Nik (Fiery One) from having it painted such a girlie colour!! Animal has lifted the head from his T150 for a long awaited overhaul & I strive to get the Nourish project in one piece!!!.

Nothing happening ride wise although Tim's always about on his Legend & I have been forced into using the T150 for work - liberally spraying with WD40 to try & combat salt damage!!

Glovebox is clubman of the year, Nik has won the Betty Grindle Memorial award, Tim the Landmark Challenge & last but not least Bo Peep for breakdown of the year - her 500 ate itself!!
